Halfus Wyrmbreaker –>
Depends on the drake setup, but pretty much burn all healing on first drake then it gets easier as the drakes / adds die.
Valiona and Theralion –>
1 tank and 3 healer fight.
Bacon MT.
P1 all spread with 8y minimum.
Collapse on tank with Blackout, dispel straight away when all is in and HR while running back out to spread.
On Devouring Flames run through the dragon so you dont get hit, can use HR to run faster if you are in danger.
This is shadow damage, so can use AM Res on it.
P2 – all ranged will group and move together in a circle around the dragononce Fabulous Flames appears under the group. Use HR / LoD on the group during the shuffle. If you get Engulfing Magic, run out of the group immediately (and stop healing until you are safely far away).
On transitions DO NOT stand in swirly shit on the ground. If so, it will send you to the twightlight realm, you dont want to go there. Okgr8thx.
Twilight Ascendant Council –>
Typical Council fight. What to do… This is a 2 tank and 3 healer fight.
In p1, bacon the OT and heal the MT. Assign another healer to the OT and 1 to the raid.
If you get Waterlogged dip your hot buns immediately in a fire bath to remove the debuff.
Heart of Ice is a Magic debuff cast on a random player which deals increasing Frost damage every 2 seconds until dispelled. This damage starts at 2,000 and doubles each tick. If you get this, run to your melee friends, then get dispelled.
In p2. This phase is all about the raid picking up the right debuff at the right time to mitigate the one-shot mechanics each boss has. Pick up the Grounded debuff from stepping into the Gravity Well void to survive the Thundershock ability. Grab the Swirling Winds debuff obtained by moving into the Violent Cyclones to survive the Quake ability.
If you get Lightning Rod, run the fuck out of the raid and to the outside of the room.
P3. The Elementium Monstrosity phase is similar to the Grobbulus encounter in Naxxramas, but without the adds. This phase is a DPS race, because the raid-wide Electric Instability aura the boss has increases in damage until he dies. This is a BURN phase, both healing and dps. Bust out all cooldowns and bloodlust. Don’t stand in the shit on the floor pretty much.
Cho’Gal —>
I want to keeeeel you! Got to P2 last night though, so he’s OURS soon! Basic concept:
- move out of shit on the floor you shouldn’t stand in
- handle the mind controls imemdiately. Cho’gall will stack up a damage buff called Twisted Devotion on the main tank. This stacks as 10% increase per second that the MC’s aren’t broken.
- many adds, handle them.
- 2 healers 2 tanks 2 phases
- OMG A NEW METER, this time called.. “corruption” *the crowd gasps!*
You have a currupted blood meter, keep it as near zero as possible by not standing in any poo or getting hit by anything.
There will be a tank swap. As a holidan, bacon the add tank and heal the MT (and keep swapping when they swap places to stay with MT).
You should group up so you can interrupt the Mind Controls. What.. mind controls? YES! Conversion, also known as Worship, will mind control two random players (not the main tank) and have them cast Worship. If they finish their cast Cho’galls damage done will increase for a short period (Twisted Devotion –> 10% per stack per second that the MC isnt interrupted, per player). This kept killing out tank because we were too slow on interrupts.
There will be flames on the floor, dont stand in them in fire aura. In shadow aura, there will be shadow crashes (see the swirly on the floor? yeah move away from that straight away, there’s a thing flying at your face) and 3 shadow damage pulses. These wont kill your raid if the hp is high so heal it up after and HR during.
There will be adds, they will be killed away from the boss at the doorway. There will be adds coming from puddles at the doorway, they should never reach you.
P2 is at 25% and is a pure burn phase with constant accumulation of corruption, there’s no way to stop it. So make sure you come into this phase with as much mana as possible to get through it. The hardest part is p1, mana conservation, and interrupts. If you come into P2 with mana and health, you can burn it down.
