Well, it’s been just about a million years since I felt like I wrote an actual UPDATE on how things are going with me, and the guild, and the raiding tier.
As for raiding, our team is 4/7 heroic Firelands. The healing shield has NEVER dropped in either of our raid team runs now since Firelands came out, but it has dropped once on an alt raid. I still don’t believe it exists…. I’m in love with my gear, nearly all sweet heroic gear now. It’s shiny, so much so that I’ll probably transmorg it as I love it’s look so darn much.
What else, let’s see. Work is crazy! But what’s new?
While the guild is going great, having 2 teams (4/7 hc and 7/7 normal) has taken its toll on both the roster and my dear officers. So, this weekend, I just announced a big switch in the guild with regard to our team format.
We’re starting over with the team at the patch and transitioning to a hardcore heroic focused 10 man team. It’s really daunting to run 2 full raid teams with 3 officers, so we’re going to hand the casual teams over to the guild to setup themselves. This way we can focus more on the rest of our leader-ing jobs – and fast progression!
Speaking of, we’re recruiting! *hint hint healers too*
Cold Fusion is a Horde raiding guild on Turalyon server EU – now opening recruitment to fill ranks for our new Heroic Focused team for 4.3. The new Dragon Soul Raid is just around the corner, T13 will be here in the next few weeks, do you have what it takes to blast through the content with us?
About Cold Fusion
We’re a group of friendly and mature guys and gals who love to play the game, know our classes very well, and have tons of end-game raiding experience. In Firelands, we ran with two 10-man raid teams (4/7 HC), but we’re stepping up our game for 4.3 and will have only one dedicated 10man Hardmode group.This team will be pushing as quick as possible thorugh the normal tier and straight into heroic content. Progression will be it’s goal, so you can expect it will be a lot more hardcore focused than casual.
This is not going to be an elitist team, but it will have high expecations in raiders to be on the team, whether its pushing dps, healing throughput, high situational awareness, sharing strats, testing our limits and pushing further as a team.

We have had the Spider Shield drop 4 times. It just goes to show how silly loot rng is in 10 man.
I’m hoping that we can get Bethtilac down on heroic before the next patch (almost got to burn stage last time out) AND that she drops the heroic shield, AND that I win it over our resto Shaman! Big ifs but I can hope!
seen the shield drop on heroic many times, once we had it 3 times the same day.
but true the rng on gear drop can sometime be rather annoying, same goes with the firestones. only seen it drop 2 times on the last 3 months.
hope to come up with some change on that part since everyone is raiding for purples in the end.
Nice to see you focussing on heroic mode fully. orginizing those social run can ask his toll in the end.
