It’s heroic time! For this series, I’ll take a look primarily at the differences in mechancs and strategy to the normal counterpart version.
For reference, you can find my normal Alysrazor guide here.
StageTwo, Three and Four remain unchanged, and only Stage One presents a few additional challenges.
Primary Differences
- New meteors have to die by ranged, raid hides behind for big ouchy aoe (Firestorm) that deals 85k damage per second.
- 2 peeps go up to FLYYYY!
- 2 healers only, 1 on each side
- Everything hurts a lot more
Raid Comp
- 2 tanks
- 1 tank healer
- 1 second healer
- 2 dps to fly
- 1 ranged dps on each side (for meteor and to help tank on big add)
- 1 melee on each side on the
Mechanics
- Want to fly? GOOD 2 peeps get to go now!
- New Molten Meteors will drop and slowly roll toward the side, ranged dps has new duty to kill them before they roll into the wall and shatter into a gazillion little pieces. P.S. If melee touches them they blow up, don’t do that
- Dead Molten Meteors will be where you need to Line of Sight hide from Alysrazor for her massive one shot aoe Firestorm. Do it or wipe the raid.
- Don’t get hit by anything, fire hurts more.
- Tornadoes are the same, burn phase is the same.
- Really, rinse and repeat.
Tips and Tricks
- Healers should rotate cooldowns on the tank if his bird is hungry, bird hurts a lot more.
- Watch for LoS if your tank runs behind a meteor, yes it happens and you can’t heal up your tankzor
- Use DP/Shield if you can’t avoid fire or the Firestorm
- Pick up a feather or 2 after your flyers are in the air.
